Regulations of English Fella

School Regulations and Safety Guidelines for Both Campuses
Enrollment Policy
- You should contact a nearby agency for registration.
- All school fees must be paid in advance and in cash , three weeks before the course starts.
- Minimum registration period required for 1st campus is 8 weeks and 2nd campus is 12 weeks.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
- When you cancel before coming to the Philippines.
- Request for refund must be done by the students themselves.
- Registration fee is not included in the refund.
- Request for refund within 3 weeks of your departure day is subject to $100 penalty.
- When you ask for a refund during your stay in the school.
- 4 weeks out of the total number of stay will be deducted and will receive a 50% refund of the remaining weeks.
- In connection with # 1, if the request is done in the middle of the week of the remaining weeks minus the deducted 4 weeks, that said week will not be included in the computation of your refund.
- Expulsion from school does not guarantee a refund since the reason for expulsion is solely the willful action of the student.
- You will receive the refund after a week from your departure from the school and directly deposited to your personal bank account. We do not give cash.
- The remaining weeks are non-transferrable to another person.
Policy for Delaying Schedule
- Is charge $100 US and must inform us a week prior to departure.
- A maximum of two times allowable to postpone.
Class Regulation
- If your teacher resigns or absent from her post, another teacher will be assigned to you.
- You are allowed to skip classes without penalty for the following, visiting parents, going to post office or hospital and changing of airplane tickets.
- Students who do not attend classes will be subject for our warning regulation.
- School official calendar and class schedule are school's main priorities.
- New students are not allowed to change class schedule on their first week and they need to meet the head teacher for consultation in case there is a need to change.(every Wednesday only for 1st campus and Friday for 2nd campus).
- For additional class such as 1:1 and group class, please refer to our homepage for tuition fee adjustments. However, you cannot exchange your existing group class for 1:1 class.
- Students should fill up the students' absence logbook if they want to skip classes for some reasons known to them.
- Students are not allowed change their course to GEC (Guardian Course) after arriving in school.
Holiday Rules
- No class during holidays.
- When disaster strikes , we cannot guarantee a refund.
- Follow Philippine holidays which will be posted on the bulletin board.
Limited Responsibilities and Notifications
- We are not liable for any disasters and airplane problems. These situations are beyond our control.
- We have the right to inform students' parents when they break our regulations.
- We are not accountable for students involvement in an accident when they go on a trip or working out.
- The school is not liable for lost belongings so please take care of your things. The students can store their valuables in the office.
- We keep all students passport so in case you need it, you can ask from the admin office and then, return quickly after using it. If you lose your passport in your custody, then the school is no longer responsible for it.
- Students are not allowed to speak blasphemous words to any staffs of English Fella.
- Students can consult staffs of any problems they might encounter.
Safety Guide
In the school
- Do not come near the swimming pool. If you lose your balance, it could be very dangerous.
- Do not dive, jump and push others in the swimming pool.
- When you go up and down at the stairs, do not jump to 2 or 3 stairs at once.
- You should be always careful at the veranda, you could fall down.
- Please use appropriate sporting goods at the gym.
- It is very slippery when you walk on wet floor with slippers.hallway, rest room ect.
- Do not touch school facilities such as boiler, motor, and air conditioner. Touching a power supply can cause electric shock.
- Do not wear slippers at the gym.
- Using a multiple-tap in a dormitory is prohibited.
- Pull out all plugs from the outlet after using.
- The school is not responsible for losing possessions. Be cautious of keeping your possessions and you can keep your valuables at the admin office without charge.
Outside of the school
- Walking the streets at night is very dangerous.
- Keep your eyes on your possessions. especially near IT park.
- Be cautious during trips : jet ski, auto bike, and diving from a cliff etc.
- Do not go to casino. It can ruin your life.
- Be cautious with other gender's kindness at night clubs. They live on foreigner's money.
- Do not be involved in the assaults. If you are drunk in the assaults, you could go to jail and pay settlement money.
Process of Evacuation from Fire
- Evacuation through a door.
- Evacuating through the middle stair is safe.
- Evacuation through a veranda.
Process of Evacuation from Earthquake
- When you feel the earthquake, open the door close to you. It is because you cannot open the door when it is broken.
- When you are indoors, hide your body under a table or a bed. When there is no tables, you should protect your head with books.
- When you can evacuate outside, you can go to the swimming pool deck in Fella 1 and a lawn in Fella2. You should wear durable shoes not to be injured by fragments of glass.
- Listen attentively to the school announcement about the earthquake and follow the instruction.
- When the intensity of earthquake is strong, do not stay inside. You should stay outside.
* The School will not refund your tuition fee if you cancel your study due to a natural disaster
Evacuation process in case of typhoon
- Abstain going out and stay inside.
- Close the door and window firmly.
- Listen carefully the announcement and follow school's control.
Safety instruction of using swimming pool.
- Before swimming, wash your body and do warm-up exercise.
- You should follow personnel's instruction.
- Don't run around the pool.
- Don't jump or dive into the pool.
- The maximum depth of the pool is 1.4m, so if necessary, you should wear a safety equipment.
- Don't approach the pool when you are drunk.
- Preschool children under 7 years old. are prohibited from swimming.
- When Juniors are inside the pool, the parents should be inside the pool and monitor the children.
- Juniors should wear a life vest when swimming.
- You should follow the available time of the swimming pool.
- Juniors 15:00 - 20:00, 1Campus(Adults 15:00 - 22:00), 2Campus(Adults 15:00 - 23:00)
- You or your parents are responsible for the accident caused by violating these instructions.
1st Campus
Regulation for Dormitory
- The school does not provide toiletries and personal necessities.
- Laundry: students can wash their clothes with washing machine or students can ask assistance from the housekeeping and it will be delivered to you after it is washed. However, please do not include expensive clothing to avoid damage or loss.
- The schedule for clean up is twice a week and changing of bedcover once a week. If the students want to change their blanket, they have to fill up the maintenance request logbook.
- The students have to fill up the maintenance request logbook if they need fixing in their room such as lights or refrigerator.
- The students are prohibited to use kitchen utensils in the room like gas burner to prevent fire.
- Smoking indoor is not allowed. There are designated areas where students can smoke so please go to those locations if you want to smoke.
- Bringing or drinking alcoholic beverages inside the school premises is strictly prohibited. If a student is caught disturbing or fighting with other students in the school under the influence of alcohol, they will be expelled from the school after informing their parents about the incident.
- Fighting or speaking blasphemous words toward another student is forbidden. If caught , they will be subject for expulsion base on the managers recommendation within 48 hours from school after informing their parents about the incident.
- Students are allowed to have visitors in the school provided that they ask permission in advance from the managers. The visitors can stay from 9:00am to 6:00pm but they are prohibited from entering the dormitory room except for their parents. The guests should get a visitors pass from the guardhouse before they can enter the school. Students' parents or relatives are allowed to stay in the dormitory if there are available rooms. Maximum stay is 4 nights and 5 days. The charge is Php1000/day per person.
- The students are oblige to follow curfew time set by the management for your safety and have the time to prepare for your class the next day. If you break this rule, please refer to school warning regulation for the sanction of the said rule.
- Weekdays ( Mon~Thu)
- Possible Time to Go Out: Before 19:30
- Curfew Time: 22:00
- Fri, Sat, The day before Holiday
- Possible Time to Go Out: Before 21:30
- Curfew Time: Following day 02:00
- Sunday/Holiday
- Possible Time to Go Out: 19:30
- Curfew Time: 22:00
- Weekdays ( Mon~Thu)
- The students are allowed to swim or play basketball until 10:00pm only. You are discourage to make a lot of noise from 10:00pm to 7:00am especially in front of the dormitories. This is to avoid disturbing others. You will receive a warning and a penalty if caught doing so.
- The students are strictly prohibited from visiting opposite gender's room. If caught sleeping together (except married couples), you will be dismissed from school within 48 hours.
- Students caught escaping from the school over the fence will be given two warnings and a 500peso penalty. Moreover, their names will be published in our homepage.
Regulation for Skipping Class
- Every class tardiness and absence : Penalty will be imposed.
- Students should fill in the absence logbook if they want to skip their class for inevitable reasons.
- (you will still receive a penalty even if you write in the absence logbook except when you present medical certificate or new airline tickets)
- Students who do not take the level test will receive a penalty.
Curfew Time Regulation (overnight stay outside)
- Students will get 1 warning for a curfew time violation.
- Students who stay overnight outside without permission will get 2 warnings, and counsel with staffs.
Dormitory Regulation
- Smoking inside the dormitory, first offense is 1 warning.
- Bringing or drinking alcoholic beverages inside the dormitory, 2nd offense is expulsion. (3 warnings per offense)
- Entering opposite genders dormitory, 2nd offense is expulsion. (3 warnings per offense)
- If caught sleeping with the opposite gender (except married couples), you will be expelled from school.
- Shouting/screaming, fighting with other students under the influence of alcohol, and damaging school property is subject for expulsion.
Warning Regulation (12 weeks period)
1st ~ 4th warning : Filling out warning consent form and meeting with staffs.
5th warning : Informing the parents of the involved student.
6th warning : Expulsion without refund and informing the parents and the agency.
(all warnings will be posted on the schools bulletin board and subject to change base on your duration)
8 weeks below : 4 times warning is expulsion. (3 times : informing parents)
12weeks below: 6 times warning is expulsion. (5 times : informing parents)
12 weeks above: 8 times warning is expulsion. (7 times : informing parents)
2nd Campus
Regulation for Dormitory

- After following 4 weeks of Spartan regulation, students may change their regulation to J-Sparta regulation.
- PIGI (Power Intensive Guaranteed IELTS) students are not subject to J-Sparta regulation. (PIGI students should follow Sparta regulation)
- J-Sparta is about regulation. It has nothing to do with the curriculum.
