English Fella celebrated the 95th National Day of Saudi Arabia with a special event. Saudi students wore traditional attire, shared authentic Saudi cuisine, and performed traditional dances, proudly introducing their culture and history to their friends. This joyous occasion highlighted how students from diverse cultural backgrounds can connect, learn, and become one community.
2. Presentation Day
On September 28th, students participated in Presentation Day, an event designed to take their learning beyond the classroom and onto a global stage. Students delivered impressive presentations on topics encompassing their culture, philosophy, perspectives, and personal insights.
Highlights included: A Japanese student performing a traditional Japanese song in a kimono, a Saudi student correcting common misconceptions about Saudi culture, and a Vietnamese student sharing lessons learned as an international student.
3. Weekend Activity Highlight: Oslob Sumilon Island
The weekend of September 20th saw students embark on an unforgettable trip to Oslob and Sumilon Island in Cebu.
Students enjoyed swimming in the crystal-clear waters, relaxing on the beach, and taking exhilarating boat rides. This trip provided a fantastic opportunity for students from various countries to forge friendships, create lasting memories, and share the adventure with their families.
4. Gear Up for IELTS Masterclass in Cebu
Committed to providing quality education, English Fella participated in the IDP-hosted IELTS Masterclass on September 28th.
Our head teachers and trainers attended the seminar, which offered a top-tier learning experience to approximately 250 attendees. ESL expert Liester Ramos shared valuable IELTS tips, common mistakes, and solutions, further elevating the quality of our education.
