“At first, English just stayed in my head. But now, it comes out of my mouth naturally.”
In the beginning, everything felt unfamiliar — the English, the people, the environment. But through daily speaking practice in class, Sungmin slowly built his confidence. Now, he no longer fears making mistakes and can express what he truly wants to say.

Practice Makes Progress – Mistakes Are Just Part of the Journey
“At first, English just swirled around in my head. It was hard to actually say anything out loud. But after lots of classes and speaking practice, I started talking with more confidence — even if I still make mistakes sometimes.”
Sungmin attended all his classes diligently, and it paid off. He learned that the best way to improve speaking skills is simply to speak as much as possible. There’s no shortcut — just real, honest effort.
Once I Made Friends, Everything Became More Fun
“It was hard to make friends at first. I didn’t know how to connect with people. But once I joined group classes, we naturally started talking and becoming close. And with Korean students, we bonded easily just by being from the same country.”
Now, Sungmin has many friends. They often go out together on weekends, creating fun and memorable experiences.
“Weekend outings with my friends are honestly the best part of this journey,” he said with a smile.
A Future Professor – and a Study Trip to the UK
Sungmin’s long-term goal is to become a professor. This language training at English Fella is one step on that path — a way to prepare for the wider world ahead.
“I’m planning to study in the UK for about two months starting in September. It’ll probably be an English course, and after that, I want to travel around Europe freely.”
We truly hope his time at English Fella becomes a strong foundation for his future dreams.
A Message to Future Students
